Chef Laura Modigliani started Cooking by Laura in 2015 to provide clients with customized meals that are both nourishing and delicious.
After graduating from the Natural Gourmet Institute, the nation's premier health-supportive culinary school, Laura cooked in some of New York’s best farm-to-table restaurants, from the James Beard award-winning ABC Kitchen by Michelin star chef Jean-Georges to the intimate Italian favorites al di la Trattoria and Rucola in Brooklyn. Laura also worked in catering, and is trained and certified in food safety.
Laura is committed to using the freshest ingredients, from organic produce, poultry and whole grains to grass-fed meats and wild, sustainable seafood. She combines seasonal ingredients with international flavors and spices, from Mediterranean to Asian.
When not in her Brooklyn kitchen, Laura enjoys traveling, exploring local cafes and restaurants, and spending time with her family.
